VHT Prime Coat is an excellent foundation for any enamel, epoxy, acrylic or synthetic lacquer. It provides a tough, air-dry base coat with excellent adhesion to intermediate and top coatings. VHT Prime Coat is specially formulated to fill scratches or pin holes caused by sanding or body fillers to form a strong corrosion barrier. It is a multi-purpose product, and can be used on metal, fiberglass, masonry, wood and most plastic surfaces. It is ideal for automotive, marine, aviation, home, farm and industrial use.

Choose a primer close to the same color that you will be using for a finish coat, but not the same color. If you will be using white for a finish coat, a light gray primer is recommended. This will allow you to easily see if you are applying thin, even coats when finishing and will reduce the paint build up due to making a drastic color change.

Red Oxide is used on iron and cast or pot metals where oxidation is a problem. Wipe surface with a solution of half vinegar and half water to remove oxidation, rinse thoroughly and let dry. Prime metal within 24 hours of this process with thin even coats. Lightly sand between coats for best results.

Yellow Zinc Chromate is used on aluminum surfaces where oxidation causes most primers to lift. It should also be recommended for surfaces where the substrate has a tendency to flex due to rapid changes in temperature or lack of support. Prime and finish both sides of the aluminum for long lasting results.

VHT Plate Finish is a unique quick drying formulation specifically created for application on metal, glass, and wood or sealed plaster surfaces. This non-tarnishing epoxy finish has outstanding brilliance and corrosion resistance. VHT Plate Finish is easy to use and dries in minutes. Excellent for touch-up, refinishing and decorative applications. Warning: Do not use any clear coat finish over these products.

VHT Nite-Shades is a transparent black tail light lens coating for creating a custom European styling. When applied to tail lights, fog lights or turn indicators, VHT Nite-Shades appears black until they are lit, then the natural red color appears. Recommended for off road use. Warning: Once applied to plastic lens, SP-999 is not able to be satisfactorily removed.

How-To
1. Clean surface to remove rust, wax, grease and dirt.
2. SHAKE CAN WELL for one minute after ball rattles. Repeat this procedure occasionally during the application.
3. Hold can upright 12 to 16 inches away from surface being sprayed
4. DO NOT cover with a continuous spray, but release the spray tip after each stroke and overlap.
5. DO NOT apply more than 2 or 3 even coats, just to color lense evenly. Allow 6 hours for coating to fully set up before handling.
6.If clogging develops, remove spray button with a twisting motion and clean. DO NOT stick pin or other objects into can. Gently replace spray button with a twisting motion with top of can and spray button opening pointing away from you.
7. Clean spray button immediately after use by turning can upside down and pressing spray button until no paint comes out.
9. For brighter light use a higher ampere bulb.

VHT Brake Caliper, Drum and Rotor Paint has been specifically designed for the custom detailing of brake components. It is heat resistant to 900F (482C) and will not chip, crack, fade or rust even under extremes of operation or road and weather conditions. It is easy to apply, dries quickly, and is remarkably resistant. Careful preparation is essential. Brake fluids are often very difficult to remove.

For increased chemical and heat resistance place in an oven at 200F for 1 hour. Curing may also be accomplished with the inherent heat of operation.
Finish is not chemical resistant until cured.

Dry Time

• Dries to the touch in 30-45 mins, thoroughly overnite

VHT Window Tint is a colored translucent coating that filters out the harmful glare of the sun, which normally penetrates glass. This unique material can effectively lower temperatures in cars and rooms with windows exposed to direct sunlight. VHT Window Tint is also beneficial on glass in boats, trucks and cars where suncreened sun causes unnecessary eyestrain, fatigue and direct sun on passengers.
