This kit will supply you complete coverage for 75 sq.
ft, which covers an entire engine AND four wheels. ZoopSeal
will NOT remove any scratches or nicks that are on your
product, so you may need to have your product re-polished
BEFORE you apply ZoopSeal, since it will seal in any
defects your product already has.
Pre-Application Step:
Pour the bottle Part “B” into the bottle
Part “A”, (DO NOT USE ANOTHER BOTTLE YOU
MAY HAVE laying around, we provide you with all bottles).
Shake the bottle to mix it together. This becomes ZoopSeal,
the mixture could take a max. 3 hours to complete the
blending process. Periodically shake the bottle up.
(If mixture looks separated after you continue to shake
the bottle, please call ZoopSeal). WARNING: PART “A”
AND PART “B” ARE FLAMMABLE! DO NOT SMOKE
OR LIGHT A MATCH AROUND THESE CHEMICALS! ZoopSeal is
not compatible with strong acids and alkaline products.
These will remove the ZoopSeal.
Application Steps:
STEP 1:
ZoopSeal Concentrate Cleaner
- Clean product thoroughly with ZoopSeal cleaner,
you can use the towels provided or a soft lint free
polishing cloth.
- Mix ZoopSeal Cleaner: 15 parts tap water to 1 part
ZoopSeal cleaner in the 8 oz. spray bottle included
in the kit.
- Spray ZoopSeal Cleaner onto product and thoroughly
clean the product. You may repeat this process as
many times as you need in order to have a “squeaky”
clean product. Be sure to rinse the product off each
time with distilled water.
- Make sure the product is “squeaky”
clean and free of streaking or water spotting. No
water droplets left , water and ZoopSeal do not mix.
The product being treated needs to be completely dry.
STEP 2:
ZoopSealer (Product left over needs to be refrigerated.
It should last up to 2 weeks, refrigerated.)
- Take the pre-mixed ZoopSealer and apply it in a
dry environment. Apply a small amount onto a lint
free soft polishing cloth. Only swipe ZoopSeal on
in one direction one time, until the product is completely
covered. DO NOT RUB ZoopSeal into your product, ZoopSeal
automatically flows into the pores of the product.
A transparent, rainbowed film will appear, this is
normal. Do not apply ZoopSeal too heavily. More is
NOT better*!
- Allow ZoopSeal to become dry to the touch. This
could be as little as two hours and up to 24 hours.
For Polished parts - proceed to step 3 below; un-polished
parts are sealed and do not need step 3.* If ZoopSeal
is applied too heavily, a more aggressive finish polish
will have to be used to remove the excess. We suggest
the use of an aggressive billet aluminum polish to
remove this excess. We then advise to use Zoops Final
Seal after the removal of the excess.
STEP 3:
Zoops Final Seal** (do not allow zoops final seal
to dry on your product!)
- Apply lightly with 3” square towel in sections
of 6” x 6”.
- While Final Seal is still wet start polishing off
the product where ZoopSeal has been applied, using
back and forth strokes until the Final Seal is no
longer visible and a luster appears. If needed, Final
Seal can be applied several times using the same back
and forth strokes in order to produce the shine on
your product.
- Allow coated material to cure in a warm dry place
for 24 hours.
**Do Not apply Final Seal to NON-POLISHED parts. It
is for use on polished parts ONLY
Not ready to use all 4 ounces of ZoopSeal? Mix 3⁄4
of 1 ounce of Part “A” to 1⁄4 of 1
ounce Part “B” EXACTLY.
What is Zoopseal?
Zoopseal is a hybrid ceramic sealer, it is not a polish
or wax. It is a protectorate.
What does a ceramic base sealer do?
It will impregnate into the pores of the product being
treated, which will stop the process of oxidation immediately.
A crisp, and clean appearance is the end result. Your
product will continue to look like new without repolishing.
What can I use Zoopseal on?
Aluminum, Raw Aluminum, Brass, Chromed Plating, Stainless
Steel, Anodized Aluminum Parts, Stainless Steel in Restaurant
Kitchens, Outside Furniture, Awnings, and Paint.
How long does Zoopseal last on my
product?
2 to 3 years.
When it is time to re-apply after
2 to 3 years, how and what are the steps?
You will need to re-condition your product if necessary
and re-apply (you’ll need to re-order a Zoopseal
Kit) using the same method as before. Just follow the
Kit instructions and your product will continue to look
like new.
Will Zoopseal rejuvenate or refurbish
my product?
No, it will not. It will only protect from oxidation
and dulling.
Will it harm the painted finishes
on my car?
No it will not.
Will Zoopseal provide protection
against fresh water?
Yes, but not against underwater abrasions.
What does salt water do to Zoopseal?
We recommend that you do not have your product immerged
into salt water for a length of time (over 2 hours).
If exposed to salt water use soapy water and wash off
the salt within 2 hours. Salt water will cause your
product to discolor.
How can I get Zoopseal off my product
once it is applied?
By repolishing the product using any commercial polish.
What type of cleaners can be used
on Zoopseal?
NO CAUSTIC OR ALKALINE CLEANERS. Only Zoops Cleaner
is to be used on the product.
How much Zoopseal do I need on the
lint free towel during the application process?
Very little!!! The towel should be barely damp, NOT
WET!
Can I use Zoopseal on my radiator
and will heat affect it?
Yes, you can use Zoopseal on a radiator. Heat from the
radiator will help it to cure and make it stronger.
We do not recommend putting Zoopseal on an exhaust,
this heats up too much.
Can I use Zoopseal on Magnesium?
No, not yet, it is still being tested.
Can I use Zoopseal on Copper?
No, this has been tested.
Can I use Zoopseal on Fiberglass?
No, not yet, it is still being tested. |
